POLICIES FOR INCLUSION
Accessibility
Learning environments are universally designed and thoughtfully adapted to promote greater accessibility for all children. A balance of structured and unstructured, quiet and active, child-initiated and adult-facilitated learning spaces cater to children’s diverse needs, providing them with holistic and meaningful learning experiences.
Personalised Learning
We seek to understand every child’s unique strengths, abilities and learning style from the beginning, to effectively plan meaningful learning experiences. Learning experiences and outcomes are differentiated according to individual children’s learner profile.
Embracing Diversity
Diversity is seen as an opportunity for rich growth, providing a natural setting for children to develop communication skills, collaborate, problem solve and take on different perspectives, aside from many other skills essential for success in this 21st century.
Strong Support System
Our strong support system ensures that every child, family and even our educational team benefits from our inclusive model. Our allied health professionals and early intervention specialists work closely with our early childhood educators and families to enskill them in supporting children with additional needs.
Parents Partnership
Parents are seen as our most important partners in their child’s learning journey, and we value the inputs that parents provide us about their child. At SAIL Playhouse, we provide ample opportunities for parent involvement.
